PUBLIC LIBRARIES ARE THE ORIGINAL CO-WORKING, HELP THEM PROVIDE THAT SERVICE

The Scottish Coworking Network was developed by the Scottish Library and Information Council with funding from the Scottish Government.

It aims to provide local entrepreneurs, freelancers, sole traders and start-ups with a dedicated space to work, meet and collaborate in public libraries across Scotland.

Each public library in the network offers well-equipped facilities for people who want to start and grow their own businesses, including offices, meeting and breakout spaces, online resources and wifi.

Whether they are entrepreneurs looking for space to grow or freelancers looking to join a community, the libraries can provide office space that is right for them. Members of the network have unlimited access to co-working spaces across the country.

Finally, there is also access to business support and advice as well as a program of events and workshops to help turn ideas into successful business and employment opportunities.
